Lab of MicroMechanics of Materials (MMM Lab) is a research group in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University founded by Professor Zebang Zheng in 2012. The group focus on the study of the manufacturing and performance of critical engineering components, including but not limited to blades and disks of aero-engines, thin-walled complex components, metallic sealing rings and springs, zirconium tubes in nuclear systems, steel tubes and bolts in thermal power units, etc. There are currently 16 members in the group (details are given as fellows).
